Talk To Me Thursday!
Do I even have to say what day it is? I think not so I will just say three words; Talk To Me!

I would totally have to agree with you on that one buddy! It seems that a woman can go into the court and start a order of support and there is almost no questions ask other than the fathers information but if a man goes in to do the same thing the courts need proof of neglect and all other things to show proof that the father should have all right to this support. All I can say is what a world.
So some times in your life you tell someone who is important to you ,to follow your lead. But in all honesty sometimes their lead you should follow. Well yesterday I have experience this in my life. I told my wife to follow my lead a few days ago and she did but to my surprise in fact I had dropped the ball. My wife is a very quiet person and doesn’t really say much or show how strong she feels about certain things but yesterday she really enforced her will and to my surprise it was her lead that I should have been following. Thank you Kristin R. Lewis!
So what are your Top Two Must Have things from a person when it comes to a relationship? And not a Ms/Mrs Right Now but Mr/Mrs Right. If you can break it down to ONLY two, what are they? Talk To Me!
I think the personal connection is really key! The sex can grow to become even better than you expect and a person can learn to become family oriented. But connect is something you just have to have from with in. It can almost not but lost but at the same time not be found.
My two top are what Angel said here are two more that are equally important she must know jesus as her savior and have love and compassion for everyone

You think a person can learn to become family-oriented? I almost think it's something that's needs to ingrained from childhood. Being family-oriented is a state of mind, a lifestyle that should influence a lot of your behavior inside and outside of the home. It's a permanent part of your being. I think sex is easier learned that being family-oriented.
But personal connection is NUMBER ONE without a doubt. I feel like your partner should be your BFF.....lol You should feel more comfortable around them than anyone. You should be able to laugh, cry, act a fool, etc. around them and not worry about it. If you don't have that...then it's almost like your relationship is a business arrangement.
I have to add sex in there because it would be so much easier and less of a struggle for a relationship if you have a really great healthy sex life. I know sex is not the answer to all your problem but if two people both valued this on the same level, that could be a wonderful thing. I say Amen to that, And Now Your Momma Knows!
@Angel I couldn't of explained personal connection any better than you just did! But I do not feel that you have to grow up with a stable family to be family oriented. My family wasn't stable as I grow up but I have children so I choose to live my life family oriented. Also my wife has grown up in one of the most stable house hold of anyone that I ever met so she brings that to our own home. That side of her helps to instill it inside of me. And a state og my is created by your mind. We all have the power to will our mind to what we want, just some people choose not to will it for good.
@ant sex is important but its not in my top ten if you really love someone and you know they love you the sex is always good you just feel them on a different level
I think when people say that sex doesn't matter they are being unrealistic. But then again some people do not value sex as high as others so it really just depends on the person. It is a matter of prospective thing, when it all comes down to it. No one can argue with your top two or top ten, only simply debate on it.
@Ant - I agree with Justin on the sex thing. If you are in love with the person then that makes it that much better. You are engaging in this intimate act with someone that you are mentally in tune with and that's the main source of enjoyment.
Now if your partner is constantly turning you down and or not into it all....there's probably an issue in other areas of the relationship that need to be worked on.
@angel i had a mess up childhood and i think that makes me more family oriented i would never want my my family to go thru what i went thru i think people learn from pain.but there are people that choose not to change the cycle out of laziness
@Ant - I don't think you need to grow up on good life lane either in order to be family-oriented. There are lots of single parents who are family-oriented and instill that in their children. And not every two-parent household is automatically a good one either. But I really think that when children see the schedule and ritual of family life, they are more inclined to repeat it and not see it as a burden that some people make it out to be.
As a female, I will tell you that most women's nightmare is their man not wanting to sleep with them. We expect ya'll to want it all day everyday. I can't even imagine if my partner/spouse turned me down...that is a huge blow to a female's ego cuz we're not used to being turned down. So we don't think sex is as important because we always get it when WE want.
@Justin - It takes a very strong person to reverse the cycle of a troubled childhood. Your logic is what I wish most people would use.
Unfortunately, there are way too many people who view growing up without a parent or living a certain way as ok since they were able to do it and don't see a problem with repeating it with their own family.
@Angel about woman Always getting it when they want!!!!!!!!!! But I hear you, I am one of those guys that is use to Always getting it when I want and being with woman that Always want it. So to have a person that doesn't feel the same way about sex as I do is very uncomfortable for me. And not to be too personal but I am very experienced and been around the block a few times so I Really value sex very high and want it highly in my life. Maybe that is why I choose to have sex as my number two. I feel like God created sex to save relationships when in certain need of help.

@angel im not going to get in to my childhood too much but it was hard and im doing real good now but my brothers and sister are not and i try to talk and show them life doesnt have to be that way that life there living is crazy and that they have a choice but they just dont grasp it and i pray for them every day

@Ant - No one's preference is wrong. I think what's important is that people think about it strongly before they get involved with someone. I think too many times we get caught up in the moment and don't logically look at the person and whether they fit our criteria.
I think that one thing women fail to realize at times (i can be guilty of this as well) is that even though men are not as vocal that they don't have feelings. Men can be as emotional as a woman...they just don't always show it or if they do, women put them down for it (piggybacking off of what Justin said).

@Justin - It's true...everyone would be up in arms. But minorities tend not to get scrutinized for stuff like that because of the history of groups, organizations, schools, being whites only for so many years. Media probably doesn't say anything because of guilt. It doesn't make it right, but usually most people don't really like to say anything to people deemed as the underdog.

I had a point in time when I was dating this girl Alexis but not exclusive, dating as in talking as in not in a relationship. OK I am sure you all get the point CONTINUE, ok so she new I was talking to other girls and she was cool with it. I knew she was talking to this one other dude so it didn't matter to me either. So of course we were sleeping together and of course I had slept with the other chick I was messing with. So far so good right?.....
.....well this other chick wanted me to spend the weekend at her house and of course I told Alex. She was always cool with whatever and we use to call each other our number 1's! Meaning we knew of our number 2's and whatever else (and this other girl did not know of Alexis). Any so Alex tells me that she doesn't mind me going over there but that she does not want me to sleep with her.......
.....if I am at this girls house for the whole weekend What The Fuck Else are we going to do??? Specially when I already slept with her before! Yes Ant, I go to church, every Sunday. I am involved in almost every tyhing the church does. I've been going ffor almost a year. Usually I get you don't seem the type, I don't get that. But YES I actually go to, and am involved in my church!!!
