And today's What-Will-It-Be Question is: Other than a celebrity (musician, actor, athlete, president, etc…) if you could be another person for a day, who would you be and why?

So my first Review on this Tuesday will be for the 2010 action hit The Expendables! I really have to take my hat off to this movie. The movie aimed at the classic late 80/and 90's action movies and it really did pull it off! With so many action stars from those time periods being older they still pulled off one of the most action packed movies of this year. The Expendables is definitely a movie that you can watch over and over as you are enjoying all of the Kick Ass Action! I would have to give this movie 4 Momma's out of 5 because it really became what it was set out to be And Now Your Momma Knows!
ReplyDeleteOK so if I could be anyone but it was not someone famous or of power I guess it would have to be someone who has robbed a bank for a very large amount of money and have gotten away with it. Because then I would have a lot of money without the fame and politics.

ReplyDeleteI would like to recommend the Eureka 313A Enviro Hard-Surface Floor Steamer. I bought this last September and it's one of the most powerful tools in my cleaning arsenal. With two kids, a Bomont, and a dog, I need something powerful for our floors.
ReplyDeleteWe have three different types of floors that I clean with my Eureka Floor Steamer: porcelain tile, marble, and ceramic tile. This steamer "cleans and sanitizes without the use of chemicals". I hate using cleansers on floors because it never seems like the soap comes up and the floors are sometimes sticky. You don't have to worry about that with this steam cleaner. All you do is pour in the water, let the Eureka heat it up (I believe it heats up to 220 degrees) and then run it over your floors. Just take it slow and steady and if you have a spot that needs extra disinfecting...hold the cleaner over it for a little while longer. Our floors always look cleaner after using this steamer. It comes with a cloth pad that can be thrown in the washer after use.
The Eureka is not heavy and is extremely simple to use and your floors will look better and you will have peace of mind that your floors are clean. So dump that Swifferjet and the sticky floors and pick up the Eureka 313A Enviro Hard-Surface Floor Steamer!
WOW that thing sounds GREAT Angel! I think I want one especially for my kitchen floor! I want to replace the tile that is down now because of how dirty it gets being a really light color and all of the dirt shows. But this thing that you are talking about sounds like it would be the best thing for my home!
ReplyDeleteI would like to recommend microfiber cloths for various duties around the house, car, etc.. I ordered a pack of 36 in three different colors and I use them for everything. Dusting, cleaning off countertops, getting a nice shine on our chrome fixtures, cleaning off laptop, TV, and phone screens, even drying the dog! Microfiber cloths are very absorbent (absorb eight times its weight in liquid) and they dry very quickly. Depending on what your cleaning, water may be all you need. Wet a microfiber cloth with water and clean your mirrors and you will be amazed. No more Windex!
ReplyDeleteMicrofiber has a special quality in that it attracts and traps dust and dirt through static electricity which is the reason why a lot of people don't need to use harsh chemicals when cleaning with microfiber.
Forget about nasty, smelly sponges that mildew...Forget those old-fashioned feather dusters or high priced cleansing cloths....just pick you up some microfiber cloths and get to cleaning!
@Ant - You know the tile in our kitchen is all types of brown, right? We purposely picked it because the previous white floor looked like crap two seconds after we mopped. The color of our floor right now hides dirt...but even so, after I use the Eureka, the floor still looks cleaner. I love that thing.

ReplyDeleteReview for today would be on the movie The Women of Brewster Place, executive producer and star of movie Oprah Winfrey, this movie is old and three hours long but women if you have a different aspect on life this would be a great movie for you to watch, only because there are several different women with different problems who handle the situations all differently, so go and take time to check it out...
I seen that movie way back when and from my memory it was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI would like to recommend the Sony RDPX50IP Sound dock for iPod and iPhone I had the bose dock before and I like this one alot better i think the sound is better and it has fm radio and
ReplyDeleteit has a internal battery so you can take it anywhere the bose was real good but when you didnt have it plugged in it didnt sound that good using the internal battery.

ReplyDeleteReview Tuesday = RED, saw it on Friday and would recommend it to anyone in the 40yr old and above age range. It was a cute comedy with action for folks my age .. lol

ReplyDeleteFamily, yes. Close friends, no. I still can't understand how you will forgive a friend, but not your wife. Shouldn't your wife rank higher than a close friend? If you're a forgiving person, it seems like you should be more willing to forgive the person who means more to you, which prolly should be your wife vs. a close friend.

ReplyDeleteSee family is only family because of the table and blood. But a strong bond with a person can be more powerful than both! But usually woman don't share bonds like men do. Woman are very often so quick to drop their best girl friends once they get a new man in their life.

ReplyDelete@Anthony - I totally understand that...Men are more forgiving creatures than women as a result. But that still doesn't account for the fact that you are insinuating that your bond with a close friend is stronger than your bond with your wife. That's the part that is throwing me.

ReplyDelete@Anthony - Your bet is right. I grew up in the military where I had to move every couple of years. I don't value friends half as much as you do. But even still, there's no way a friend should mean more to me than my husband. It doesn't mean I don't love my friend, but it means my obligation and loyalty are greater to my husband. Yes, the marriage may end, but that friendship could end too.

And again I gave you my example with me a Bomont. It seems that we will be friends for life but will my wife and I last? It is a good question.

No...I understand what you are saying. I can understand how people treat their friends like families. But it still doesn't explain why you won't forgive both parties.

I'm not saying that he means more to me than she does or she means more to me than she does. She is my wife but yet again I Only new her for four years vs Lamont since 3rd grade. And true friends are a lot harder to find than a spouse. I can go on face book right now and line up multiple woman who would LOVE to be my spouse!

Well once you get married and die still being with your true spouse and that relationship out live one with your true friend then once you come back from the grave you give me that answer.
