OK now that, that is out of the way I can move on. So this is what I plan on doing today. I am going to take one of the questions from The Book Of Question Sex&Love and post it on someone facebook page other than mine. I want to see what type of response would I get out of other people that I normally do not chat with and their friends. So I will choose someone that has a good number of friends that comment on their page. Now the only thing left to do is pick a good question. So stay tuned to see what type if answers I get and also let me know what you think about the question.

OK so today you get a two for one! I am throwing the question on my friend Eugene's page but underneath his question for the day. But I found a question that is very similar to the topic at hand already. So here it goes:
ReplyDeleteQuestion for today. Do you think it's wrong to date or sleep with someone immediately after a break up? Do that mean that person never loved or cared about the person they was just with?
ReplyDeleteYes it' wrong. If you sleep with someone after a break up, then you never really cared or loved that person in the beginning !
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's wrong here is why. People grow apart once the love dies and the care for that person dies that means end of relationship. Once I break up with someone my emotional attachment for that person is gone. So what I do days or weeks after a breakup is completely right. No one sits home not living there life because they want to spare there ex feelings by not doing what a single person do and that's date.
ReplyDeleteOh..Ok...You didn't specify that in your question, but even still why jump right into something after a breakup anyway..Give yourself time and space for the new relationship, Unless you were with someone else before the breakup, If so, then that is wrong, even if you think its' right!

ReplyDeleteIf being lonely is a reason to jump right into a relationship, then i would rather be by myself, until God has blessed me with the right person anyway. Now your in a relationship with someone for all the wrong reason, and your not being honest with yourself or them!

ReplyDeleteI think it depends how the relationship ended if this was a relationship where the loved died then moving on quickly does happen but if it ends where somebody has feeling what might be right for one might not be right for the other but if a person moves on quickly then that's their choice. If somebody moves on and one still has feeling it's going to hurt but at the same time its not wrong its just insensitive but its up to the other person whether they care. It just sucks being on the still caring end.

ReplyDeleteSometimes ppl jump into bed/relationships after a break up not necessarily mean they didn't love their ex or because they are lonely...that individual probably was hurt so bad in that relationship where their mind is unstable so they go o...ut looking for comfort wanting somebody to take their mind of how much pain they are in....sometimes when we are not thinking clearly we will react on their emotions(especially women) and things happen...will they regret it the next day probably so...Does that make them a whore? No....ppl say love hurt but love doesn't hurt its ppl who do not know how to love or don't understand what love is are the ones that abuse it and misuse it...I know some of you that are responding to this post had been in that position( don't 4get I know some of you personally) including myself...so we are in no position to judge anyone...

I'm a full grown adult been there done that already, and even still jumping into bed after a breakup for all the wrong reason's is still wrong, even if you've been hurt..Love yourself first!

ReplyDeleteOK OK so I read all of you woman's comments and now let me put the male side of the spin on it! Is it wrong, is it right? Well everything comes down to situations kind of like how Amber explains it. It all depends on who is looking through ...the class. For the person who still has feelings of course they might see it wrong but how about this, I am dating ...lets say Crystylz and we break up. And the break up was bad. So yeah we no longer speak. So that weekend after the break up I go out to the club and meet Amber and she is some fine white chick with a phat ass just the way I like it (she is). So we dance and hit it off and at the end of the night she ask me to come back to her place and she is Very forceful with it. So I decided to go over there and OF COURSE we smash! Well am I wrong? No because I am an adult and I can do what I want and I am no longer in a relationship so therefore I am available to do what I want. Now what I will say is wrong is if I was to meet up with Danielle or Marsha or possible Markita and started to date them very soon after Crystylz and I break up. Now I feel moving on in a relationship is worst than sleeping with someone shortly after a break up because at the end of the night or in the beginning of the morning sex is just sex but a relationship is a lot more involved and shows that I would be willing to disrespect the feelings of that bond that Crystylz and I built. I can't see myself sitting home talking about i can't move on because i don't want to disrespect my ex. Have you looked at the key...word here EX. Let me Reiterate this one more time when you breakup with someone that's means you are no longer with that person therefor the respect, ties and love or whatever that relationship had is none nulll and void. We don't live worrying about the past or what you do in your present or future to respect the past later for. I refuse to move on with someone new still giving a damn about what the past think.

ReplyDeleteWho said they had to be the rebound? Rebound only happens when you still have feelings for the past relationship and need something to ease the pain. But if you don't have any feelings for the past than to me it is just dating as usually
ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to process this question. Men are on a whole other channel when it comes to this sort of thing. Women NORMALLY will not do this UNLESS it is just to erase the memory of the other person. I don't THINK it means that the person never loved or cared for you. It just means that some people are extremely self-centered and not thinking of what their actions will do to the other person.

I think it also depends on who the ex is as well like if you have a child with the person also plays a factor on if you ...should continue to respect the other persons feelings as well. But this question is also whether feelings are still involved. A person who is ready to jump back into dating then there are those of us who still need time to ourselves its just depends how you dealt with the break up as well. And ant im gonna smack you when i see you lol.

ReplyDeleteIts easy to say that but if you love someone its not that easy to just turn off the feeling everybody mourns relationship differently. My last relationship broke my heart so moving on to the next wouldn't be right because im not over the hu...rt and thinking of what went wrong so im fixing my faults before i invest time in someone else. Its easy to point fingers at the other person but sometimes you have to look at yourself as well. But i don't judge my ex for moving on quickly just shows his heart wasn't as invested as mine.
