OK so another day of trying to stay away!
So yesterday was least amounts of time that I was on here. But I really did accomplish what I set out to do! I were able to complete a lot of over due work. So let's see how long do I have to stay away today.
Communication is a key factor in any relationship, I believe its for both sharing feelings and resolving problems. Sharing how u feel can also avoid certain problems from even arousing and developing into something to complicated
Since Danielle laid down the meat and potatoes I'll just say sometimes heart to heart talks are also a way to spark intimacy. Those moments of sincere openness can be very endearing.
Thumbs up 2 Danielle, u hit it on the nose. @ Shakeem CTFU!! Heart 2 heart talks r the only way 2 solve problems. The bad thing about me is I shut down b4 I will talk if the situation is bad or my feelings have been hurt. I'm still working on that.
To answer the question I think heart-to-heart talks are more often a way for you and your partner to solve problems rather than to share feelings because you can almost share feelings at any time and through any means but to really solve problems I believe that you should engage in a heart-to-heart talk. And Now Your Momma Knows!
I think it serves a purpose for both reasons...as already said ...communication is very important. it gives u insight to what triggers ur significant others reactions and to gain better knowlegde and understanding of it. I appreciate heart-...to-hearts because not only does it give u a map to what someone is thinkin but its also a great tool in spending quality time with ur mate... i jus finished reading the book 'DNA of relationships'' by Dr. Smalley... and i recommend it for everyone, its not just how you intereact with others n a relationship, boyfriend, wife, sister, mom etc but how YOU interact with a relationship in urself
@Tayana, I think writing letters can be very helpful. First, it gives you a chance to get all your feelings out (vent a little) but then you cam go back and edit to make sure you are being productive and reasonable. Often, while talking, people blurt things out that they don't fully mean, but you can never take back. And if you're dealing with someone who tends to dominate conversations by talking over you or running on and on, writing gives you a chance to express yourself uninterrupted, in a (potentially) calmer venue.
Honestly tayana I'm gonna keep it real I don't know you and your probably a cool person but you just pissed me off. if you don't like my comment don't fucking read it, the man asked a question I gave a truthful answer.
Actually to be honest my wife is not a talker at all while of course you all can imagine that I always Run my mouth lol! But in times of need when things are a bit heated I often write her a email during work hours and it helps us get down to the main issues that we are having.
well my bad, i didn't see that the C in that, my phones a POS (yes ant i do own things that are a POS) so it's not all the post are clear so i retract my statement. i just get very pissed off when someone tells me to shut up.
Hey I'm sorry too I am just getting in to the abbreviated world and I saw that and didn't think about the word cracking. Hey you know how you young kids love to break everything down now a days lol
@danielle my train of thought is perfectly fine, it's a simple as i said it. i don't have problem's if i did, i wouldn't have said what i said and if i had a problems with my other or any other women she better text me to straighten it out... because i'm a busy man. As my nigga stan once said "i got a watch but i done have time for the bullshit" so if she or any other women has a problem with talking to me through text they can keep on stepping because i got shit to do and i don't have time to slow down for anyone not even my women, because there are plenty of fish and the sea.
@Shakeem yea if u say so smdh it sounds immature but hey like u said thats you..... it may be plenty of fish in the sea but that dnt mean nothing ur relationships will never prosper like that.... WTF is textn gonna solve wat about the the physical aspect seeing each other face to face... Sumthing a GROWN ASS MAN WUD DO.....
Hmmm.... In my own opinion i believe that it touches basis oin both categories. If my hubby can talk thru problems in place of arguing I'lltake that any day!
